I'm sure the question has already been asked but I can't find the answer. What antifreeze is suitable for a 1983 2.5 N/A engine in my ex-Military 90?
The Military log book states AL-39 or TS-10177, but I can't find a commercial equivalent. Any advice or guidance gratefully received.

Can someone please tell me which type of axles my Land Rover 90 Defender (circa 1983/84) has got on it? Please see the attached photographs. Also, I would like to put disc brakes on the rear via replacing the axle. Whilst there, I will replace the front axle as well. As I want to do a...

I'm in the process of fitting power steering to my Land Rover 90 2.5 NA diesel. However, I have hit a roadblock on one of the components that I need. I have been unable to get hold of the bracket that mounts the PAS pump to the engine, part number ERC6974.
Does anybody have one kicking around...

I have got an ex-MoD 1983 Land Rover 90 with a 2.5 NA diesel engine. I have been told that converting it to power steering is fairly straight forward provided that you can get hold of the parts. Because the vehicle is a FFR version, it already has an additional (and now un-used) grove on the...

I have no idea how long the radiator has been leaking. I have only recently purchased the Land Rover and when I checked the radiator expansion tank I found it empty, upon filling the expansion tank up, the fluid leaked out of the radiator.

The radiator has developed a major leak, the fluid flows out as fast as you pour it in, so it needs to be replaced.

Does anybody have an exploded diagram with part numbers for the front door of a Land Rover 90 (1987 reg) with sliding windows?
I have managed to find an exploded diagram but it doesn't have any part numbers on it.
I have got rattling windows and would like to refurbish the entire assembly...

I have an ex-MoD 1987 FFR Land Rover 90 that has sliding windows in the passenger and driver doors.
The window lock is a large knob that you twist to lock or un-lock the sliding windows. Unfortunately, the window lock on the driver door doesn't work and you can easily open the window and reach...

I have an ex-MOD 1987 FFR Land Rover 90 that needs a new radiator. However, I'm not sure which radiator will fit. I think that I have narrowed it down to either a ESR78 or a ESR79.
I have found an ESR78 on eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321898825893
Anybody know which one I should go for...
