OK. Acquired the both later larger version of the Tow Hook Lock parts. Its straightforward to change over from the early smaller bits to the larger later version with the ratchet on the inside. Dismantled mine totally, cleaned and reassembled with fresh grease.

Although the RRsport is a 2012. Got a broken key in the detachable tow bar hook lock. It looks like the the locking mechanism handle is a KNW500010 type without the ratchet grooves inside the handle. In order to fit the later version KNW500020 kit with the ratchet grooves. Are the kits...

2012 Range Rover Sport towbar with a broken key in the barrel due to corroded tumblers in the barrel. The locking pin mechanism is ok. Can I get a replacement key barrel or does it have to be a kit.
