Haha sounds great especially when you have the knowledge to do you’re own work as that saves a fortune in the long run.
Yes it was a shame on the plus side it went to a home mechanic and he was putting it back on the road so it wasn’t scrapped

I loved my p38 but it was a 4.6 so again was a drinker but I got rid in the end as the head gasket failed so wasn’t economical for me to repair sadly.

Yeah I should of learnt my lesson from the first p38 I had many moons ago but I’m not very mechanically minded and I usually end up making things worse trying to fix things myself haha.

Nope nothing unfortunately I did call out the RAC and they scanned it and cleared the codes and it came back to life and levelled out.
He suspects it was caused by a low battery voltage as it’s showing 12.03 volts so needs a good run does this sound likely?
