adjusted them earlier but made no difference. Will have another look tomorrow. Internet isnt throwing anything up (or rather throwing everything up). This thread needs a conclusion 3 years on. ::)

I've got this problem too. Brakes work low down ok but a quick up and down and it bites much further up the pedal. And also you can feel the pedal move down under pressure with engine on as you say. Did you fix this in the end?

Interesting. so perhaps the shoes are recoiling to far making too much pedal movement to push them out. Good thinking. I shall check this first.

its actually army green. The bonnet is black tho. Only had it about 3 weeks. Tbh its so full of holes there is plenty of ventilation, esp with the gun turrets (thats what i call them) open and doing 70 on the motorway. :) Yeah i still not decided on a colour/theme yet either. The pink one could...

Salmon Red? :P Yeah was thinking more yellow orange than reddy orange tho. Turns out i really suck hard at photoshop, i only end up with a dody greeny orange looking photo. Never mind. I guess an orbital sander will be the easiest for that. Perhaps do a side at a time and a few coats. Damn...

Awesome. I look forward to your pictures. Is it required to sand back to almost bare metal or just quick prep to make a surface which is usable? Need to get my photoshop (lack of) skills on the go and come up with some graphics for it. :)
