The over reving may be due to the clutch switch. Do you have cruise control? If so engage it then depress the clutch and it should turn off. Griff

Fitted a VDO pump and all is good and it's as quiet as a mouse.

Plus - oil level rising is a sign of the injector seals need doing because they're letting fuel into the oil. Griff

As above for the EKA then check the receiver in the roof lining in front of the rear sunroof is receieving the fob signal. If you do have to replace it it's plug and play. No programming needed. Griff

+1 with Fery. There should be nothing on the plastic halves of the fob -it's all on the ciruit board. As others have said all you need to do is swop your "old" curcuit board into the new casing. Sorry I'm too far away to help with Nanocom Griff
