No not driving with the diff lock on i can hear it disengage and engage so no issues there, and the clutch is a extreme outback heavy duty clutch about a year old including the release bearing

OK I'll probably be taking the box out this weekend, the clutch is only a year old and done about 35000km same as the bearing

Can hold the clutch in for as long as I want if it's in neutral, or if I've come to a stop first then put the clutch in, also its a fairly load grinding noise that I can feel through the gearknob!
