Hi Paul and Robint, Thank you both again for your help and it is all back together and working fine. My next challenged is adjusting the central locking in the o/s door. Job for another day.

Best of luck with that, tomorrow, and I will be doing the same. Have a look at my post and get a diagram of the layout.

1998 Discovery 1 series 3. It was the small spring, that breaks, in the latch, that I replaced and some bars and clips fell off and I would like to put it back together.

Thanks Paul but the one I need is with the one showing the bars and clips to the latch and auto lock system. Can you help with that?

Hi All.I have just fitted a new spring to the lock on the hatch door of my disco and a few bits fell off the door catch so I need a diagram, of the lock, so I can put it all back together. Can anyone help?
