hi all just test drove a 2000 V plate freelander xdi station wagon. noticed that there was an occasional whine come from lhs front didnt matter if you were on power brakes or coast nor turning right or left seamed to come on for a few secs then stop for a min or so. any ideas??? coupling felt...

heard that the manual clutch wasnt the strongest but was always told auto boxes traditionally arnt good at towing but that was on other cars 1-0 to the auto me thinks thanx
