yer we have had it all new and skimmed and tested and yer we do trust garage we did have it checked after he did it by some one else we r just asking mechanice to do a NEW PUMP SO HOPE FULLEY IT WILL WORK HE IS ALSO REPLASING RAD

oh i do not know then at the min it has not got one in how do u test one then it was £7 from our local car spares

we have head skimmed and tested it does only do it when got caravan on the back at the min we do not have a thermstat in as we got a cheep on i belive and it will not open when we put it in boiling water

i did feel the rad when expansion tank was steaming it did not feel warm at top or down side

ok thank u what does it mean by the core will it be worth getting the air con fans rigged up so we can put them on two to keep cool? the thermstat hose feels warm most of the time

yes i know that i only tow at 55mph anyway as i feel comfortable towing at that speed,we r having a pressure test on wed will this decide what the prob could be or not

there is no bubbles at all from expansoin tank at all nor is it throwing any water out when start it the rad did not seem warm to touch at all tooo

had a chap to look and he looked in oil ect and told us to by passs heatermatrix but as say we only got 1 mile and it hit red and the expansion tank was bubbling like mad and water was coming out with lid on

i want to keep it i love it we have just been advised to use a thing called k seal to see if it helps what should it sit at the temp gague it sit at half way most of the time then creeps up but not in to red part will it be safe to tow to lincon from coventry way?thank you i will look for turner...
