Gave up trying to DIY my EGR blanking plate, as I have no wish to try and remove the exhaust manifold to drill out the egr bolts when they snap. Never mind eh! I consoled myself by cleaning the map sensor, definitely a 5 minute job, just got some elctrical contact cleaner from local auto bits...

Although there are a number of threads relating to this topic, I thought I would appraise you of my recent experience, with a rear passenger door that wouldn't unlock/open. Took it to a local 4x4 garage and left it with them for an 'hour or so'. They ended up unbolting the door off its hinges...

Hello all, just got myself a Discovery Td5 ES, on a V plate 2000MY, with an automatic box. I'm itching to get in it, can't get it 'til Tuesday, grrrr. This will be my first Landy, let's see what happens.
