I think Gel was merely thinking of the more salubrious county.
Tell you what though, it would be epic to see @Alibro bring that machine all the way from NI. Would love to see it in the flesh, volts an' all.
I will be there for the day no matter what. Just need to work out if I'm definitely going to camp or not. Depends slightly on the boy and his mum's work. I'd like to bring him up but a day of us old nerdy sods will see him pretty bored I'm sure...
From time to time I thought about cup holders, I have the rectangular tray thingy. I eventually concluded that the tray is a better option for me. I've made my own cupholder in the driver's door pocket by pushing in a plastic pottle. Not exactly...
Cheers mate, sound advice and yeah ... they are heavy! ... came off easy enough though and went back on without too much of a struggle. My 'project work van' is now finished too! ... and super happy with it. Second project Freelander for me in...
I’m currently around the mountains on holiday. Decided to take the F2, just ‘because’.
Just refuelled (like charging points, petrol stations are few and far between around here). Kent > Bristol > North Wales. Over 350 miles, a smidge over 38 MPG...
Ha. Like it, although I'd just like to say, I think the double cup holders on the dash of the facelift FL1 are the best cup holders in any car I've ever had. Very secure and accept decent sized drinks recepticles, and they are not flimsy fiddly...

Impressive stuff. I occasionally have to design EV charging installations at work so I am quite interested in what installs are good (or not) and often chat to owners to find out their experiences. I'm told that some chargers can be a bit iffy...
When cold, the Jatco does hold the lower gears for longer than normal. Sometimes, on occasion, for quite a bit longer than it really feels it should. Are you sure it's not just this?
I've been pushing ahead with the low voltage junction box trying to get the car ready for a road trip next Saturday and today I had the biggest step forward since enabling regen. :D
DC fast (ish) charging at a Chademo charger. :banana...
So today I was so focused on ignoring that I neglected to put enough suncream on at the beach earlier. The result is rather burnt shoulders. Bloody ignore thread!
As this thread is been ignored, not many are going to see it..
As it involves a freelander it should be in the joke section ;)
(Good luck on the meeting.)
While ignoring this most popular thread.
Publicity opportunity for the many ignorers!!
