A little late in life for owning a Land Rover, I am 75yrs but I love this car.
I lost my wife just over two years ago and was lost for a hobby. I tried photography but with limited mobility, I soon got fed up taking pictures from the car window. My next try at finding something to occupy me was the guitar, which was ok but I needed frequent breaks due to sore fingertips.
I remembered that way back in the 80`s and 90`s I was into CB radio, not the usual local stuff commonly called "mupets" band.
I was into DX (long-distance) I bought a couple of radios a mag-mount and the Freelander it had to have a metal roof and my current car fits the bill just right.
That`s about it really.
