This is the item I'm talking about

Yeah that sounds like the problem I'm having. My old TD5 90 was secure and never moved but can't say the same for this 110. The radio fascia/bezel isn't fastened in correctly and I've no idea how the wire retaining clips work to fasten them back in again
-
I bought a 110 and the bezel on the radio fascia wasn't in correctly. I've got a new radio to go in but I'm not sure how the wire retention clips actually fit in to keep everything secure. Has anybody got a picture of the rear so I can see how it all goes together
Thanks

My passenger and rear door both activate my interior lights and so did my drivers door but now it doesn't at all which is quite annoying. I ordered a new door switch but it's made no difference. Any ideas ?
-
I ended up leaving it for the time being but if it gets any more scabby looking I'll have to get it coated somewhere.
-
I'm actually having a fairly annoying time finding a place that has a big enough oven to powder coat it that's within a reasonable distance. One guy said he wouldn't touch it because of that coating as it takes too long for him to get it all peeled off/burnt :(
Edit... I see I double posted oops

It's not powder coated, it's a plastic kind of coating.
-
As my question states I'm asking what the original coating is.
-
It seems it's got some type of plastic coating and with age it's cracked then waters got in and began pushing it out.
-
I've recently bought one for mine and it's got the usual cracking around the emblem and anchor points but my question is what are they coated with ?. Is it best to get it powder coated or get it redone in the original coating.
Thanks

Used to be when it rained my handbrake light would come on on the dash so I ended up disconnecting it from the handbrake but it seems that if it's wet or damp when I use my heated front screen it will bring up the handbrake light.
This is on a 90 XS so has a factory fitted heated front screen...

Just called Landrover UK, Got told it might be an ACE warning (Whatever the hell that is)
-
Yeah far right on the lower part of the dash, I thought it was brakes failing. If it's choke I must have a sensor playing funny buggers
