The smoke is white /blue

So i should change the turbo then.

not much smoke on start up ,but when i take off im like batman with all the smoke.

Before the engine was fitted i saw that the turbo was very oily.

Hi ye land rover owners. I have a Range Rover 1999 with 2.5 BMW ENGINE which was replaced last week. It now burns oil like an oil rig. The engine sounds fine it has 66,000 on it and has lots of power. Could it be the valve oil seals? By the way the smoke smells like sump oil.
