    My bother removed his after endless trouble which his mechanic couldn't fix. Wouldn't worry about the insurance aspect, much safer without an intermittent Abs problem, and as said, only fitted to certain models.... and Japanese imports.

    If you're in the general London area, perhaps you need to check with your insurers, some scare stories there also.

    Must admit I'd like one now that prices are falling. Unfortunately my wife is too practical and can't see why we should replace our ultra cheap to run, and reliable, old Octavia.
