Thanks for the advice. It's location could pinpoint the problem as I changed the oil filter recently and it leaked badly as I didn't tighten the sensor will be covered in oil. I noticed the light soon after.

Hello, New member first post. Could anyone please tell me where the oil pressure switch is located on the FL 2. The oil light comes on at tick-over. I'm sure the engine is OK as it's only on 76,000.
