No, and if it's not a case of the wipers being on the spindle in the wrong place but is the motor not stopping in the home position, you may suffer battery drain problems.
Planet rock has moved over to dab+ (only station I listen to, had to buy two new portables one for garage other in kitchen) don't know if that's got anything to do with it but never know.
First welcome :) though I guess you wont be around long🤔.
Get new pads in and get an MOT, be honest about the rust, but without seeing it they can be quite extensive repairs, but a 2008 already rotting out is a bit worrying.
plenty of guys will...
I agree with Eric. With the GM box in the TD6 L322, its a case of 'when' not 'if' the box will go and they generally do between 90k - 120k miles. The fact that yours has made it to almost 200k is incredible. Your vehicle will probably have had...
I changed the oil in the GM box when I had td6 using the genuine LR oil and the box was never the same after, even put a recon valve block in it and more oil change but didn't help so I would say leave it alone if it's working ok .
Don't bother with the foxwell (got one and it won't do recalibrate suspension it might do the sas but don't count on it never tried it on mine) that's why I went for the gap in the end.
I have an icarsoft and GapIID. They are both really good, however, I would probably go for Gap if you only have an LR. As has been suggested, you can go into the CCF and configure the car which is really useful if you want to change options...
+1 here for GAP too.
The blue tooth has never been an issue and its handy if you want to be out of the car to see what's happening.
Save a little longer?

They both see and read the same thing on every system, the IID can programme things which the Icarsoft cannot, but at 4 times the price you have to ask yourself, do you need to programme things?
I had an Icarsoft for a year as could not afford...
I believe the icarsoft will only read and clear codes, I have the Gap and not only does it read and clear codes but you can go into the CCF files and change things to suit you such as drive away locking, wipers to intermittent when stop at...
