As mentioned no battery set up on the 2005 car but 40 days without use will kill it stone dead. You mite get away with 3 weeks even then special programmes will be off until it reached full charge.
Disconnect the battery next time and lock it...
Now fair enough you might set the car on fire with a plumber torch soldering tiny wires but you can get electric soldering irons now which would be a little safer or even small gas powered ones lol.

Had same on my P38 SRS light kept coming on because of the connection so in the end I cut it out and soldered the wires together, end of problem.
Right so quick update - drove back from a cycle to the unit to dump the bike etc and had a quick nose under the seat to check which connector. Moved it slightly and now the SRS light is gone with no message either - so thankfully not the clock...
Have a look down the side of the oil filter housing see if there's water in the V, I bought one those vacuum filling kits off eBay for another job and there's a pump in to pressurise the system that's how I found my leak turned out to be the stat...

I’ve cleared the fault code which showed up in the SAS, ABS, and air suspension modules.
ABS lights came on but went off after a restart. Air suspension went up, down and then back to normal.
