Thanks for info unfortunately parts won't work took it apart yesterday and think it must have been hit by someone all plastic round motor and metal mounting plate are broken,will have to buy new mirror Regards kcd

Thanks for reply my problem is opposite to yours everything works but makes grinding noise when going out i have to grab it to stop it trying to open further, think I will have to live with it not going to pay £300 plus for new one Regards ken

Hi did you get any replies to post about door mirror repair kit for freelander 2. I have same sort of problem can't find any answers or second hand mirror for 2008 hse

are door mirrors repairable on 2008 freelander 2 hse .all functions working but when drivers side powers out just keeps clicking and I have to stop it by hand, is there a repair kit for mirror as new one costs a fortune.can anyone help . Regards kcd
