Also decided a while ago to help my wife and myself out and see what a Redbooster clutch master cylinder was like to use.
Installation just finished but it's still at the garage so no idea just yet but loiking forward to life with an easier clutch pedal.
-
So its been a while but the work continues on the Landy.
New injector harness being fitted as the previous one had perished O-rings and was leaking oil out of the head and it was a cheap replacement.
-
And done.
So shiny :) ...

Yep, sorted on the security thank you, took the widespread advise on that.

Well today is Paint restoration day with a car detailer wiping back 15 years of use. The Before & After is quite amazing.

So I got round to fitting the second of my Exmoor Trim loc & fold seats for the back of my Defender.
Exmoor Trim have been pretty rubbish overall with sending me two right hand seats by mistake the first time, then taking two months to send me a left hand seat, then I put one in at the weekend...

If nothing else they are interesting videos

hello there.
Stormtuning and Alive Tuning are definitely the two companies that crop up the most.
In general a Stage 1 take BHP from about 122bhp standard to 150-160bhp.
Stage 2 takes it to about 180 bhp. More is possible of course, but you might need to look at upgrades for the turbo...

All buttoned up and back on the ground at last, before the next jobs.

More progress at the weekend with the read brake caliper's going on. Very pleased with myself.
No problems at all with the brake set up, though I need a replacement brake fluid pipe from under the rear tub for the passenger side rear, before I can connect it up.
-
Finally made some more progress on the brake caliper refurb and have started to fit them back on.
As I mentioned elsewhere I decided to paint them red to really make them stand out.
New pads and pins all slipped in nicely too.

if the vehicle is going to be parked up outside a good solar powered trickle charger is a very good idea to keep it topped up.
-
So finally got round to fitting all the pistons and seals and retainer rings to the calipers with help from a local Defender specialist.
Definitely one of the more fiddly jobs but now all done and now back to repainting before refitting, or trying to refit before I find something else I need todo.

I bought a pair of the Loc & Fold seats before summer and just getting round to fitting them.
Really nice seats and very good quality mechanism. 5% discount if you're a member of the Series 3 & 90 - 110 Owners Club with a 4 digit membership number.

A nice little spruce up of the air vents covers on the front wings with some Halfords satin black I had left in the garage.
