    Hi all, following a happy half hour under my Disco - think I have traced an intermittant starting problem to a sticky starter solenoid. Before whipping it off - which looks like a bit of a bu**er to be honest - I notice that it has a short length of rubber pipe from it's underneath to drain...

    Disco spare wheel carrier

    Those clip thingies break really easily - but only cost 10p each. Worth having a handful at the ready - 'cause without them it is a bit of a bugger to stop random rattles from the internal rear door trim.

    Intermittent non start

    Hi All, Got a disco diesel Auto TD5. Put key into the ignition, turn - lots of nice lights come up - turn the key once more - CLICK. Repeat a couple of times and the engine starts. I'm thinking starter solenoid? Disabler? Something else??? Any words of advice gratefully received.
