I’ve got a freelander 1 td4 2.0, is your cam cover assembly available? If so how much for the part and postage?

The bolt thread that as snapped has fallen in the engine bay somewhere and I cannot find it for the life of me! Any chance you know where I can source a cam cover?

Everything seems to run fine and it’s driving fine but oil is being flicked everywhere in the engine as it comes off the chain

New hose is on, just finished drove it to make sure all was good and I could hear something, came back home and could see flecks of oil in the engine bay to realise I had over tighten the engine cover and snapped the thread, so the drive chain can be seen. Please tell me there’s a solution!

Fair comment! Makes complete sense, Just didn’t want to spend all the money on the silicone set to end up not being the issue and having to spend more money on a new remedy!

I do here a hiss but this is the first Land Rover I’ve had and first car I’ve had with a turbo so didn’t think it was out of the ordinary!
I’m pretty sure it’s the middle one, thats runs from the turbo to the intercooler, brook wells do the standard part for £9 which I think I’ll get and see...
