Not seen anything about the loom, the belt goes round (screeching) but the pully is stuck tight.. I'm hoping taking the compressor off and gently persuading the pull to turn again will do the trick

Gone to re-gas my 2005 td6 today and had same problem however I know my compressor is definitely not kicking in, the clutch engages but the pully is stuck... Can I take the compressor off and free the pully or do I need to replace??? Cheers
