Take the top off the steering column (three screws from below) then take out the 6 screws as shown and when it's out you'll see how to take off the painted bits. I sprayed mine satin black as they were a bit scratched and the result was great.
I can't remember exactly, but you do need to remove the 2 screws under the hood of the Ipack first. Then I think the hood comes up, on clips if I remember correctly. I think there are hidden screws once the hood is out the way.
Can’t seem to budge the black trim around the clocks, I have removed these 2 screws but it feels like it is held in place from somewhere around the steering column?
Looks like the cable conversion kit isn’t suitable for your car. Needs to be wired in right. I don’t have a diagram for the standard wires or your unit so can’t advise what to cut chop or change.
