Just realised I have two accounts on this site. Lol

Hi
I haven’t done the rear belt yet as it isn’t timed on the D3.
I used a Gates kit. Initially I used a Maitings oil pump and it leaked from the crank seal, then I used a genuine LR seal on the same pump and it still leaked.
Finally I did what I should have done at the start and bought a Fomoco...

cartronix= £279 to repair the old cluster. lol, not going to happen.
-
Yes, I've still got the original cluster. I'm wondering if I can use the electronics side of the old clocks on the new working cluster?
Ideally the new clocks will be coded to the car.....what type of system does that?
-
No I didn’t notice, I read somewhere that I’d you fit different clocks with lower miles the original miles will show.
Anyway, going forward, I’m looking for someone who can code my new clocks to the vehicle.... any ideas?
-
Is it possible to code these clocks to my car, if so is anyone here able to do it for me?
Will travel and pay, obviously.
Thanks
-
So guys, not fixed but have found the problem.
When I bought the car the clocks were pixelated so couldn’t read the display... I damaged the temperature gauge taking the thing apart tying to fit a new display.
I bought a second hand one and this is causing the problem.(it is the right part)...
