Your lucky, I had one of those packaged bank accounts, when my D2 prop went they only took me to the nearest garage and left . Cost me another £230 to get home. Cancelled the account next day.

Totally agree about AA , might have to give green flag a shot come renewal.

Anyone had cause to use a breakdown service , if so do you think they delivered, or were they crap. I’ve been with a few over the years, and in my humble opinion the rac are so much better than other companies.

Had the dreaded three amigos up , not as bad as I thought it would be though. Fault read shuttle valve failure. Changed shuttle valve cleared fault. Now I await the next job.

Yes center nut was just about hanging on by a couple of turns.

That’s the one, retightend all fine. Didn’t lose any oil just had really bad vibration. Single nylock nut just to add replaced nut.

Don’t know if anyone else has experienced the following. Back in the summer front propshaft uj let go at 60 mph. What a racket sounded like a pneumatic dell underneath. Anyway propshaft replace leaking transmission sump cover replaced yesterday after leaking for six months. Back to the anomalie...

Changed upper and lower ball joints both sides , now steering is a bit heavy, also drained and replaced diff oil. Ball joints were a right bugger. Replaced leaking gearbox sump cover, leak occurred after from prop uj let go last summer and mullered underneath, all running sweet now and no leaks...

I always make sure dash cam is on , just like seatbelt. If I was involved in a prang I wonder if the insurance company would withhold payment if dashcam wasn’t on.

I have a garmin nuvicam fitted to my disco LV gave me 10% off my policy.

Update Well mot done no advisories, happy days.

Today I renewed injector harness, cleaned out ECU , seals were shot and oil up to red connector, I’ll give it a few days then reclean. Replaced doughnut , well worn. Then last job changed fuel pressure regulator, slight leak , what a pig to change. Next stop MOT tomorrow afternoon

Changed injector harness cleaned ECU , now running sweet. Before changing harness she started ok but sounded lumpy , once temp gauge had gone about 1/4 , turned off ignition then ran fine . Now happy
