    Thankyou Rob.B Just found out it was the two rear propshaft bearings and centre rear diff mount.Good job I didn't let nationwide garage fix as they had diagnosed that the rear diff was knackered also had ruined 4 tyres.If only these garages knew what they were talking about. Great forum loads...

    rear whirring/grinding noise

    Please can anyone offer me some advise,My Freelander 2.0 xedi 98 has started making a whirring/grinding noise when driven at high and low speeds sounds like wheel bearings but from center,also rear tyres have raised in the middle,though i have no problem with steering.:confused:
