fancy helping a complete newbie blank off my EGR and de cat my disco 300 tdi? I have the parts the tools but no bottle when it comes to the bolts scared i'll screw up royally. Tyheres a drink in it or a few beers I am in dorking :)

yes trawled ebay none at the time and no-one breaking one could be bothered to strip a disco for one :) slight change of subject does the model with front headlight washers use an extra motor or is it run from the front screen ?

obviously not as popular as i'd Hoped lol

May be a crap thread but here goes What parts have you had to replace / repair on your disco that you were able to find an alternative / better / cheaper replacement from another car ? my example was a non return valve for the rear washer motor £12 off ebay got a mini one for a pound :)

Had to grind mine off too to sort the rear washer turned out the non return valve had siezed. Bought a mini one off ebay for a pound job done

cheers for that I'll just de-cat anf blank the egr what recomendations do people have for oils ? and does every one change at 6000 ?

can you show some more pics of how you ran the wiring for the light bar ? was thinking of doing the same on mine

I have been a lurker for a while but now find my self in dire need. I have a '98 disco 1 on which i am trying to change the reverse light switch. I read all i could find on here and thought "how hard could it be?" well the answer is Fvucking impossible ! I cant reach underneath and believe me...
