Just unlock, get in and plug your reader in. Then click scan codes and it will probably prompt you to turn ignition on, just one press of the start button I think @kermit_rr has a 2010 l322, he can advise for sure 👍

When you open the car it wakes up, don’t think it turns ignition on till you press the button and will only start with the brake pedal pushed. I personally wouldn’t expect too much from that reader, but we maybe surprised. J
