if anyone out there is contemplating fitting a defender engine into a series forget it go to the pub instead its alot less trouble

hi im in need of serious advice im trying to fit a n/a defender engine into my series 2 landie and im having problems lining up the engine mounts to chassies ive tried both defender and series mounts all to no avail it just wont fit

im trying to fit a diesel n/a defender engine into a series landie and having problems the engine mounts wont line up or do they

im having great diffultities in fitting a replacement engine in my series 2 . im trying to fit a defender n/a diesel and i cannot make the mounts meet up to the engine. the diesel injector pump is getting in the way!
