Did the whole set including * etc but still didn't recognise a fob

New here and probably been asked before but thought I'd try :) Our disco 2 wouldn't open or start so entered eka code. Bought hawkeye as need something for future and ordered a key of eBay. Chinese with both long codes. Ended up changing the receiver unit .... Old key now works but can't...
