Thanks everyone! I hope it is just the amp (which I assume is part of the main deck in these units?) and that replacing that will solve the problem... I kinda figured that all the speakers losing sound at once was kinda strange and way too unlucky, even for me!

yup, did all that... only thing I can figure is a blown fuse but then the gradual loss of sound doesn't make sense. It's got me confused.

Anyone know where to find an AFFORDABLE loadspace cover for a 98 Disco? Most online parts sites that I've looked at are out of stock or otherwise unavailable and the Dealer wants $300+, which is looking like the only option at this point...
