Well this morning after leaving to drain overnight i put the ECU back in. I then cleaned out the MAF sensor and the MAP sensor. they were both quite dirty. after cleaning and reassembling i took it out for a run. I cant believe the difference. no more stuck at 55mph with it missing and better...

ye removed the battery terminals and then cleaned the plug and ECU end too.

This might sound like a stupid question but can u remove the ecu without disconnecting the battery at all or do you need to disconnect the battery? cheers.

(DTd5 I just changed my injector loom last weekend. Was a bit apprehensive but it was a doddle - very easy to do.) Where abouts do u live as i am not sure if i want to do it on my own. Or is there anyone willing to help (shropshire) tks jeremy

what is the best thing to clean the red plug out tho? i used contact cleaner. got brake clutch too is that better. do the new looms stop it all together or dose it come back? cheers
