Cheers everyone.... I did manage in the end. I found a can of lubricant in garage and that did the job nicely by squirting underneath :) Needed them taking off so could park it in a multi story in Leeds city centre. Normally take other car but was due to snow at home hence taking my Disco.... :lol:

oops soz yes you're right. I guess in my mind the way I look at it is that I'm posting on a landrover site therefore I'm talking about a land rover. Skoda......i think not nor a freelander. I have a Disco 3 series. Taking them off so I can get in height wise. Probaby due to the fact I've not had my weetabix this morning :)
