    Thanks for the advise we have tracked the smoke down to the engine block specifically underneath the timing chain. The alternator has once more been changed along with new battery that seems to be working. Now locating the smokes origin is key

    Thanks I think you maybe onto something. The nancom is coming up with loads faults so I'm thinking it's an electrical fault

    I purchased a new alternator and this temporarily solved my problem! Now I have a new one the battery light has come on and there is smoke coming from the engine. I don't know where we went wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated
