yeah it will get fixed i was just curious and wanted a bit of info really. I keep this car at my parents so i struggle to get the time to do stuff to it. I would like to have the time to give welding a go but don't. So it will be paying a mobile welder.

Appreciate your comments. I shall see if my welder will patch it up as most boot floor in good nick and will be cheaper. Never want to spend too much dolla on it as You don't know what's around the corner on these!

I thought better check the damage in the boot as it has never had anything done to it rust wise. Got mot in may and it had advisory on body mount corrosion.
Got hole on off side and smaller hole near side near back doors but the rest of boot seems fine and the sills and arches don't seem too...

All I did was spray all the linkage underneath with wd40 and then with a piece of wood I leveraged it between the linkage that moves when you select diff lock and chassis (think) and it just broke loose.
I put mine in diff lock once week to keep linkage moving.
Or maybe your has corroded I...
