Thanks for the contact info for Mark J Cook. I've now got a large copy of the photo of my LWT that appears in his book. He actually took it himself so was able to place and date it for me! Cheers, Jase

Mark J. Cook Military Land Rover Book

So I talked to Mark J Cook. What's really cool is that in 1991 he actually took the photo that's in his book and is kindly allowing me to reproduce it for my man-cave (aka garage). Jase

    LWT FFR

Hey guys, thank you very much for you opinions - I really appreciate them. Much of the 'bolt on' stuff is already uninstalled eg the wing top boxes and the clansman radio backpack etc. I guess I will need to catalogue it all and see if I actually have any missing parts. The OCD in me means I...

    Chassis question please

    Chassis question please

Just got myself a 79 LWT, yay! Ok, there's plenty of issues to keep me busy but help with my first issue would be really appreciated. First issue is that I need a new rear cross member. The chassis rot goes up the rail past the spring hangers and so the best looking option I think is a galv...

Freelander 1 - charging but red light on

Hi peeps! My first thread so go easy on me if this is in the wrong place etc etc! Joined LZ after receiving so many top tips on so many topics - thanks! I'm hoping I may now return the favour :) I had a fairly persistent red battery warming light on my early FL1 early TD4. It basically stayed...
