thanks do i need to put a 9mm pin to hold the gear cog in the timing position to hold the cog in place

can anybody tel me if i have to remove the timing cover to remover the fuel pump for checking or can you remove the front plat of the pump and take the pump gear off leaving the timing gear alone.

thats not good is there a fix beforeit goes bang

what should i be looking at

i have a 200tdi engine which ran fine on a long journey. came to start today engine revs its head of no control on revs cable working fine. any help please sounds like engine is going to blow up tryed it several times but the same happens

i started my landy today its got a 200tdi engine, engine started to rev its head off no control on revs throttle cable not sticking has anybody any advise on whats happening. engine ran ok before today had a good long run out. sound like she wants to blow up now help please.
