Hi all. I put a new set of canbus compatible LED sidelights in today, which threw up a problem with my drivers side not working. I did an ECU reset,still not working, downloaded the workshop manual to look for a fuse, never found it, wtf is wrong...? (Tried all the bulbs to see if it was one of...

New LED sidelight bulbs, to go with the headlight bulbs last week. Now the fun starts, one of em ain't working and it's not the bulb...:(

New Bilsteins on the rear, new wheel centre caps, going to attempt new headlight bulbs.

Smooth driving is the only way forward when conditions go down the toilet, snow, muck or whatever...;) I would still pick the Freelander over the quattro on a schitty day though.

They're both good. I bought my FL1 to get me to a wind farm in winter and it never missed a beat. Changed it after putting 20 k on it in a year, for a FL2 HSE and the refinement is beyond comparison. Don't be put off by high miles, just make sure it has had regular oil changes and been looked...

It coped brilliantly from Fort Augustus right up to Stronelairg Windfarm at 2500' up. I don't know how the guy in the 6x6 ATD ended up in the ditch, but I had a better Friday than he had. Not the deepest of snow but absolutely sure footed. Fitted with Event All Terrains.

Just got a 2008 FL2 HSE two weeks ago. FL1 was getting tired at 199.5k. Loving it so far.

Bought some Bilstein rear shocks, fitted a oem roof spoiler and a plastic rear wiper upgrade arm.

I just replaced my one two weeks ago. I was clocking up serious miles and although the FL1 wasn't costing a fortune to keep, the thought of it letting go at 199.5k, 150 miles away from home, wasn't filling me with confidence. Someone else can have a cheap winter runabout with all terrain tyres...

Just put four Event AT tyres on my one, £200.00 for the lot fitted. Not enough road noise to be annoying, good grip on the road at legal speeds and they grip the muddy stuff quite well, which is why I bought them.
