Hi, I've just fitted a set of electric rad fans to my V8 D1 and I'd like to find a way of getting an accurate temperature reading of the coolant so I can set the fan cut in temp. I don't want an aftermarket gauge, so I was if theres another way of doing it? Maybe a thermometer in the expansion...

I've ordered a new temperature sensor/switch, hope I got the right one. There's a sensor in the thermostat housing and two in the inlet manifold.

I've sorted it (kind of), I believe my neutral switch is knackered, I've earthed the terminal at the starter relay and it now works, added bonus of being able to start in drive lol
