Hi, I should have put this in the reply about the battery etc.
I have now checked the input from the alternator and I am getting 14.46 at tickover which is similar to the 14.44 I was getting before.
I will keep an eye on it though in case it is an intermittent alternator problem.

That is why I need to find the big relay so I can measure the resistance down the feed wires to the glow plugs as I cannot get to 2 3 4 plugs with the manifold on.

I am having problems with cold starting and I have been told if I locate the relay with the four wires coming out which go to the glow plugs I can test the plugs by using the connecting wires. Thanks
