hi i have a 2000 disco 2 td5 and have already done the full front end facelift conversion. i now have the lights to do the full rear facelift conversion. the all fit i know that but does anybody know how to change the wiring as the indicators are now up top and reverse lights down the bottom...

Im having this problem, i have a 300tdi in an ex v8 disco 2, the engine gave up and i replaced it but now my temp guage is over reading, i changed the sensor for the original one but still reads the same, checked the stat thats fine, any ideas?

I have 3 real engine choices at the moment without buying anymore, 3.5v8 300tdi and 200tdi, there will be one trial a month, numerous play days which will involve deep water, the rest green laning unless i decide to do a winch challenge, i dont want auto its got to be manual.

Gauge fed from alt? Its all wired how it was before, just to clarify theres two temp sensors on the engine, one under the stat and one ontop of the head, the one under the stat is wired and works the gauge but the one ontop of the head isnt wired? No wires there and with the 300tdi being in an...

Its hard to run it a little longer as you run out of road, asoon as you go onto idle it starts cooling down..

If the coolants got nowhere to go it wouldnt necessarily loose it would it, wouldnt it just run hot? Saying that the pipes and rad dont feel hot but do feel a little pressurised and reads red hot on the gauge??

Yeh tried two or 3 sensors i no are good, all work the same, filled up the system 50/50 mix in the thermostat hosing and rad top, had the header tank at the highest point and front end of the truck in the air, engine running, heaters on, kept topping up until no more air or bubbles.. Im sure...

Was that a hairline crack in the head gasket? And was your temp gauge raising within a few mins of first start up? Theres no pressure in the pipes upon normal driving or idle, and only slight pressure in the pipes on full load, but i cannot bleed any air out the system at all evan after a thrash...

i have an mib flex kit, works awsome, i didnt pay 1500 as i bought all the shocks/springs seperate, just bought the shock mounts, have my own style rear arms and qt front arms, if you can afford it go for it.
