JI have a 2014 Freelander 2 HSE I seem to have lost illumination on the speedo and rev counter, but the central information display is ok\ Is this a settings thing or fault ?

JI have a 2014 Freelander 2 HSE and I want to update the Satnav Maps. I see that there are USB and DVD option. Is it one ore the other and how do I tell which. Any recommendations for map source would be helpful.
