I have a 2001 90 TD5 and it will do 85-90 (as long as your wearing ear defenders) it will happily cruise at 75-80 and still return 30mpg. Hope this helps.

I have one of these (about 5 years old) and can confirm that it does fit in the back fold up seats of my D90 - you do have to pull the belt very tight to make it secure.
