Thanks both. I have now put everything back together and the motors are working fine. I still have to book icon appearing so will have to take it somewhere to get the code read.

Replaced the O rings on the heater matrix and attempted to change the blend motors with varying levels of success!!

I have tried turning the cog by hand but is does not move far enough round to line up with the motor. This may seem a really stupid question but how do I move it with a 9V battery as will try that so that I can at least get the motors back in and the car put together again.

I am trying to replace the blend motors on my P38 and after battling for hours I managed to get the old ones out. Unfortunately when putting the new ones in I can't get the temperate blend motors to locate. The cog thingy sticking out from the housing is turned so far round that it will not...
