Father in law owns a 2006 freelander td4, he had the clutch and slave cylinder about 9 months ago and the car now gets a crunching noise when changing gear from 1st to 2nd. All other gears are ok, any thoughts / ideas would be greatly appreciated

No no grumpy gel we bought a TD 4 for my partners father and changed to lhd. He still has it now and absol loves it. We have managed to get the old ird out (2.5 cm) hole in the bottom where the bearing have collapsed. Replaced withvthe refurbed part from bell engineering who have been fantastic...

Sorry fellow freelander owners, ordered a recon ird from bell engineering(who have been great) and just waiting for the part to arrive( hopefully today) Will let you know how I get on, never fitted one before so hopefully shouldn't be too difficult, got some advice from bell also

I was told it was for better fuel economy. I checked and it has had the cylinder head and water pump done so I thought everything would be ok. Many thanks for the reply, can you recommend where I can order one?

Hi all Seeking help on my problem. I have a 2005 1.8 Freelander, and the reverse lights have stopped working. I have changed the bulbs but still nothing. I have checked that power and nothing. Checked fuse box and nothing faulty Is there anything lose I need to check? Thanks

Looking for any advice, whilst draining the gearbox oil on my freelander TD4 2006 I have realised that the two pipes coming from what looks like a small radiator seem to be blocked. Any advice on what I need to do to fix?:confused::confused: Thanks
