Found a split vacuum hose!!

Have a similar fault with mine, idles rough now and again but not that often and if i turn off then on its fine again. But it has a hesitation on light throttle all the time which is annoying, fine on full throttle. Fuel pump? Diconnected MAF and it made no difference? EGR disconnected and...

Sure its not electrical? Fuel rail sensor fault would cause this too, they are prone to water ingress/corrosion i believe, worth checking the connector, its behind EGR valve. Reason i know is mine was loose and became disconnected causing your symptoms

Could it be an injector issue?

I get this too so be interested to hear the cure if and when you finally find it!! Its just like an out of balance wheel but as you are accellerating, rather than cruising at a set speed! I also currently have the surging mentioned at low revs. Going to try some injector cleaner too.

I have Insa Turbo Saharas on Black modulars on my Series 3 (235/85/16). They are amazing off road. It really is incredible what i can get through and what i can tow in muddy conditions. (i'm always towing people out with their AT's!) Just bought a 300 tdi ES disco but it has road tyres on it...

I've got hold of some rubber from work and hope to fit it this wkend. I'll let you know how it goes. Abit worrying about the accellerated rusting though. Ah well!!
