That's good enough for me, thanks. I've seen a discovery 2 that ticks all the boxes apart from being 7 seats

Hi folks, is it possible to swap out the storage lockers of a 5 seater disco 2 and convert to a 7 seater? TIA

What have you done to your Freelander today

After waiting for just over a month to complete the necessary red tape - mine is now on the road. And I'm really pleased with it :)

What have you done to your Freelander today

I left the seat in situ and just unclipped the upholstery at the bottom of the seat to have a good look. The cable had snapped but literally just where it used to join onto the metal 'hook'. The hook is missing so I think I'll just fashion a replacement out of a coat hanger and crimp it the the...

What have you done to your Freelander today

Ok great. I'll have a look tomorrow. I've got two boys (6 & 7) that would have to do the same thing if I don't sort it. As the freelander won't be legal till the 14th of march I've got time to get it fixed

What have you done to your Freelander today

Yeah I had a quick look at the drivers side to see what's what. I was thinking about taking the seat out of the car to fettle with it, is that being excessive though?

What have you done to your Freelander today

Just discovered that my passenger seat won't release to tip forward for access into the back. That's just confirmed what I'll be doing tomorrow then!

    Advice please

My 7 seater has ACE, and it leaked. The original high pressure lines are put in place before the body goes on, so if they need to be replaced that's why it gets expensive. The pipe split on my just as it entered into the valve block

Hi, I've just enjoyed reading through the whole thread. Mine won't be on the road for at least another three weeks so I'm fishing through the forums for inspiration! So far the Ronbox, lift and tyres are the highlights. I've got fairly new general grabber AT's currently so maybe the tyres aren't...

Life with my Landy (Platty's Project Thread)

I've got time to tinker. I can't tax mine till it's gone through a VOSA identity check courtesy of a Cat 'c' write off classification - and that's not happening till march the 14th! Time for me to address a 'sticky' back window operation :-)

Life with my Landy (Platty's Project Thread)

Great thread! it's the sort of thing where I get green with envy hearing about the skills of a good 'amateur' mechanic lol. My know-how can be written on the back of a postage stamp! But it's projects like this that give me ideas for my recently bought td4. Cheers!
