That's good enough for me, thanks. I've seen a discovery 2 that ticks all the boxes apart from being 7 seats

Hi folks, is it possible to swap out the storage lockers of a 5 seater disco 2 and convert to a 7 seater? TIA

After waiting for just over a month to complete the necessary red tape - mine is now on the road. And I'm really pleased with it :)

I did that with my td4 today!

I left the seat in situ and just unclipped the upholstery at the bottom of the seat to have a good look. The cable had snapped but literally just where it used to join onto the metal 'hook'. The hook is missing so I think I'll just fashion a replacement out of a coat hanger and crimp it the the...

Ok great. I'll have a look tomorrow. I've got two boys (6 & 7) that would have to do the same thing if I don't sort it. As the freelander won't be legal till the 14th of march I've got time to get it fixed

Great thread! it's the sort of thing where I get green with envy hearing about the skills of a good 'amateur' mechanic lol. My know-how can be written on the back of a postage stamp! But it's projects like this that give me ideas for my recently bought td4. Cheers!
