Thanks for remembering my issue !!! It defo sounds like bearing noise from the front was hoping there was a common bearing/shaft etc to try first (and cheaply) :-) My wife drives an FTO , mirrors are tiny !!!

My mech thinks not. Sounds like its coming from o/s front but also d/s front. Is there any way of checking these items out without giving my bank manager an opportunity to rub his hands with glee??? p.s. thanks for the super speedy response.

Hi all. Just bought a freelander 98 3dr manual 1.8. Was told that it has been noisy for years (independant verification on this) Took it to my local garage (independant) who tested wheel bearings. Which are fine. (ramp and jacked running through gears). No real noise outside we could pin point...
