    thx for your reply. No I haven't disconnected the battery recently. The RR is 2007 but i have had DVD read errors on and off for a couple of years.However I have never seen it behave like this. I will check for moisture again and see if I can get another DVD.

    After 6 years I have become used to the inbuilt humour of my L322 sat nav. However about 4 weeks ago I punched in a destination in the Peak District and the sat nav is still calculating the route ?? I know I need a new dvd but I don't want to lay money out if the unit is faulty. I have tried...
