Hi, I removed the gearbox and transferbox for rebuilding ect and I am in the process of getting it back in. In the box of bits I have removed is this part, I cant remember where it came from or see where it goes! Can anyone shed any light please?????

This is a friends series that he had asked me to get involved with the rebuild, I'm always up for a challenge so I accepted! Wanting to improve on welding and fabricating I reckon this will do it!

I couldn't get a good pedal doing it the old fashioned way with someone pumping the pedal whilst I opened the bleed nipples, a mate lent me his pressure pot and ten mins later the pedal was solid. From memory the passenger ns was the one that most air was trapped.

I used triple & double connectors to wire towbar electrics , worked a treat and much better than the dreaded blue connectors.

The nearside is a loop from offside, just connect same colours with double connectors and they should work ok.

Today I had the pleasure of putting the landy to work, it pulled like a train and I hardly even knew the load I was pulling was even there! It was great to get to use it for something it is so capable of doing.

Be careful how much you hoak around, I did the same and spent a few months repairing holes, replacing both outriggers ect. A friend suggested lifting the body off to check around rear section where a frame attaches , turned out to be rotten right through and what was left was paper thin. I...

I got some nice welds on these, some crap ones too. By the end of making them I was getting the hang of it and its great not having to buff the ****ty welds down! Keep practicing and trying different angles and settings until you get it. :D

Just a few photos to update the progress on the landy, not to sure if I like the spots but a friend gave them to me and tbh Icant make my mind up. Had a go at making the rockliders which I really enjoyed apart from a trip to a+e to get a bit of metal out of my eye, but happy with they way then...

Wow after all that work and the end result you achieved it must have broke your heart to sand it all off!. Hats off for tearing back into it and never give up on it, the first drive in it makes it worth all you put in. Good luck for the respray and look forward to seeing the end result.
